I need to capture this moment

The Gophers are holding their own against Michigan. We're only losing by 3 in the third quarter. Baby steps, baby steps....

Last night I saw an episode of Seinfeld I've never seen before - The Junk Mail. What are the chances that I've seen most episodes multiple, multiple times, but completely missed this episode? I got really excited when I realized I had never seen the episode - it's like getting a new episode 10 years later.

I somehow forgot to mention that I played on my first organized sports team in nearly 10 years this fall - the Zombie Pirate Ninjas adult kickball team. My lack of posting may be due to the fact that we only won one game all season...and that was the last game of the season. All in all, I learned team sports are more fun when you get beer after...and during...the games and get to design your own uniforms.

I'm in Phoenix, and I know there's at least one amazing Mexican restaurant here, but I can't seem to find it. If you know what it is, help a sister out. All the "Best Of" lists are filled with $20-entree Tex Mex / fusion restaurants, which is all well and good, but I'm looking for the no atmosphere place all the locals know about but won't talk about on the "Best Of" lists.

My two cents

I'm a fan of the new 35W bridge design. I think it's Saarinen-esque, which I enjoy. Although this is one case where function is clearly more important than form.

This is not a joke

I wish I could tell you it was. I also wish I could tell you Donald Faison made this movie before he had a full time gig on Scrubs. Also not true, as Homie Spumoni was filmed last year. I am not above Netflixing it, though.

Bleh.

Is it just me or is this year's City Sampler a little lackluster? Maybe it's just the inclusion of "Your Body Is a Wonderland" that annoys me, because I really like the Damien Rice and Gomez songs on it. What do you think? Is it as good as prior years?
